this afternoon i began putting in another layer on the garage door. it rained a lot last night and through the morning and i got a late start today. but at least it was dry enough and would hopefully stay dry long enough to allow the paint to dry up enough. i came in and started cutting stencils of the some of the images that had been mentioned. the cowboy and bob ross in particular. i've still got 7 open tvs so i still have a bit to do, but this has been a fun project. i added in a stencil of a dude in a suit winking and giving you the finger gun. on the black space behind him races a tai fighter from star wars, the star trek enterprise, and george jetson in his jetson mobile; or something like those characters (i think this one may still needs a bit of work). i added in a baseball game, the tour de france, a talking head, a cowboy, bob ross, and a super hero cartoon. i've still got to add in the family comedy and the crime drama. and animal planet. there were so many good suggestions on facebook last night. i'm excited to finish the rest.
