a new mug!

Scott Frankenberger makes the most beautiful copper red glazes. 

A couple of months ago when Zach was working at Artists' Own, I stopped in to bring him lunch and bought/brought a Scott mug home. It was a gorgeous little mug with an elegant shape.

Today, I brought lunch for Zach again and bought/brought home another Scott mug. It's a frosty matte blue one this time, and it's pretty. Apparently Scott makes the most beautiful blue glazes too! I love all the depth and intensity of the color, the lyrical nature of the form, and the richness of the experience that goes with using a lovely handmade mug!
