I am so glad we decided to keep this black vernissage tomato plant after the freaky hailstorm that destroyed parts of our garden. This plant seems to have recovered well enough to not only ripen these few tomatoes, but also grow a couple more new ones.
Zach thinks this little tomato has won itself a place in our garden again for next year. It is a hardy plant that resisted blossom end rot and other forms of abuse. And best of all, these tomatoes taste as good as they look! We'll have to make ourselves some caprese salad for lunch tomorrow!

Hi,
We are seeds producers located in Québec (Canada).
We're selling our own seeds produced on our land.
This year in the harvesting season we totally forgot to take a picture of the black vernissage tomato. We're asking you if it's possible to use your third picture on our website (the one with your hands).
In exchange we can send you some free tomato seeds.
Here is our website : www.vielajoie.com
Thanks for your help.
Appreciate
Roby
Yes, Roby! You can go ahead and use any of the pictures that will work for you. We no longer have the original photo file, so I hope you can work with what is shown. Email us @ mindythm@yahoo.com. Thanks!
