Garden Friend vs. Foe

Bees, ladybugs, green lacewings, and spiders are great to have in the garden because they control the pests population and help pollinate your fruits and flowers. This year, I've been spotting a great number of bees in and around our garden ...

We implemented some simple principles of companion planting (marigolds, borage, nasturtiums, and herbs mostly) and have noticed significantly less whiteflies and no tomato hornworms. But we still battle aphids, and occasionally, we find some yucky worms ...

I guess nature always has her ways of balancing things out!
