Window Dressing

A couple of weeks ago, I taught Zach how to fold an origami crane ...

Once he got the steps down pat, we proceeded to make over forty of these giant cranes for the new spring window display at Artists' Own! Working with scrapbook paper is a little more tedious than usual, but we knew our efforts would pay off, so we kept folding, and folding, and folding some more ...

Ta-da! Doesn't the window look great? Kathleen Kitch and Joanne Titolo did such a wonderful job hanging the cranes -- thank you, ladies! The window looks pretty enough in the daytime, but when the sun sets and the reflection in the window goes away, the cranes really come alive!
