To everyone who has been so gracious and supportive of this new Lafayette mural, we say a big THANK YOU. We've driven past Artists' Own a couple of times last week, and each time we went by, there were people out playing and posing for pictures with the mural. I know how hard Zach, the students from the mural class, and the kind folks at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation worked to make this mural possible, so seeing everybody loving it makes my heart sing :)
The official unveiling is happening tomorrow evening at 5pm. The community is invited to attend and meet with all the people who are involved in the project. If you plan on coming, please plan to also go over to Foam City to the open studio. It's a short walk away and the weather should be beautiful. I can't think of a better way to start the weekend than with art.
